We're wrapping up these in peeks into our McLean first floor remodel with the main event - The Family Room. Something that wasn't mentioned earlier, is that these clients had slightly different tastes in decor. One wanted full on dark academia and the other wanted something a bit more neutral. We married the two styles in this room to create a balance that they both found lovely and uniquely special!

We knew we wanted to color drench a room, and this was the one! We sourced celestial wallpaper (that also reminded me of the ocean, perfectly fitting for this project) and selected a paint color based off the paper. Similarly, we chose mustard yellow velvet draperies and a large rug that tied into the color scheme of the paper.
To balance out all that was going on with the ceiling, we created a custom white sectional in performance fabric. They have dogs that enjoy sitting by the window, so we chose do a modular sectional with an ottoman and chaise incorporated into it, so that the doggies could have their own built in window seat.

Our clients have been raving about the performance fabric! It's one thing to have a beautiful sofa. It's another to not be afraid to live in it. #NailedIt
We accessorized with whimsical art and accessories and pillows with pops of color. And that coffee table??? SO fun.
That's a wrap on the McLean First Floor Remodel. It was a very fun project for wonderful clients!
