Before & After: Master Bathroom Renovation

This fixer upper home in Leesburg, Virginia was very chopped up. We knew some of these walls needed to come down to let that beautiful light shine in!
Layout Considerations
To add in an element of privacy, we installed a low wall on the walk in shower and placed the niche inside. This also hides the bottles from view as you pass by, leaving the exposed shower system the star of the show.
We kept the tile selections simple and timeless, a marble-look porcelain on the shower walls and a linen-look gray on the floors, with fun pebble tile in the shower.
A Bit of Elegance
Painting the walls in an off-white beige made the bathroom airy but warm. We nestled a James Martin Vanity in the existing vanity alcove and installed new bronze faucets, lights, and hardware.
While we could have done built in cabinets opposite the vanity, we loved the classiness of using a piece of furniture for linen storage. It adds warmth and elegance to an otherwise simple bathroom. Both the vanity and cabinet have cremone bolts which add interest every time you grab a towel.
The Final Result
We transformed this bathroom from cramped and confused to spacious and refreshed. It is an honor to make such an important space special for our clients.
